Hi there! I am Cheryl D'sa, owner & interior designer at Via D'sa Interior Design based in San Francisco, CA. Your home is your sanctuary, your comfort zone, your space to refresh and be energized. It should enhance your life while being a reflection of you. I can help you achieve these goals using a streamlined design process that alleviates the stress of decision making. What I love most about my job is helping clients translate their vision into reality. My passion is to create warm, comfortable homes infused with the client's personality. Successful projects are built on meaningful dialogue and trust between the interior designer and client. In every project, I strive to fully understand my clients’ needs and apply their feedback and ideas into my designs. I know the value of relationships - be it with vendors, contractors or clients. I am an empathetic problem solver who will always make decisions that align with your budget & aesthetic. I would love to answer any questions about my process with a free 15 min phone call. Services provided include: * 2-Hour Design Consultation catered to your needs. ALL projects start out with a minimum 2 hour paid consultation. * Kitchen & Bath design - This includes producing drawings/sketches to communicate design intent with your architect or contractor and sourcing finishes and fixtures. * Space Planning & Layouts * Sourcing Furniture, Lighting, Art, Rugs & Accessories * Upholstery - sourcing fabrics and working with workrooms * Window treatments - sourcing fabrics and working with workrooms * Paint Color Consultation Note: I'm currently booking new projects starting 4 months out.

I had a wonderful experience working with Cheryl on my bathroom design. As someone who never worked with a designer before, I really apprecaited how she patiently answered all my questions and presented various options tailored to my budget and design preferences. She was always accessible and incredibly helpful when it came to making decisons. I highly recommend her and would abedsoluely work with her again.

Cheryl gave me great insights into furniture placement and a few other design needs. I used her suggestions with great success. She was so easy to work with. My interior is eclectic and a bit curated--not cookie-cutter-showroom look! I was happy to find someone who can work with creativity!

We hired Cheryl for a major job. It was a complete redesign from scratch of a very large kitchen and a powder room of a historic San Francisco single family home. We interviewed a number of designers and Cheryl was the most thoughtful, well put together, creative one we met, even compared to those that had 20+ years of experience or famous clientele or magazine features. Naturally, we had very high expectations. Our budget just for cabinets was $60k to give you an idea. But it was a tricky job - you couldn't just pick a bright white kitchen since it would not match the vibe and well preserved original woodwork and trim of this 100 year old home. We wanted it modern and beautiful, but timeless enough to fit the vibe of the home. We wanted it bright but also with multiple colors. We wanted it functional but fun and warm. And more requests on top of that too. Cheryl came with multiple interesting options. Her high level thinking is impressive. And then her ability to piece that together with the "micro details" -- literally down to the grout color and the exact height of the crown molding piece in quarter inch increments -- is what makes her really special in my book. The kitchen and powder rooms are both stunning and high end, and yet we came in overall slightly under budget no less. Overall, I do have 1 regret with Cheryl - I regret that I did not just hire her for every single part of the house that we remodeled! I have already mentioned her to a close friend for their mid year remodel and plan to recommend her as highly as possible to anyone and everyone I know. She is an artist that is brilliantly creative on top of being a warm, kind, patient (very patient) person. We feel privileged to have her hand in our forever home. If you are looking for a designer for a job small or large (or very large like ours), honestly, I would not even bother interviewing others - hire Cheryl if she's available. Period.

We worked with Cheryl to design our living room and dining room spaces. Cheryl was professional, prompt, and always put at the forefront an emphasis on designing a space that spoke to us and our aesthetic. She helped us to pinpoint what we were looking for, and provided lots of great ideas for inspiration. From providing multiple layout options, to finding rug and fabric samples, to shopping with us to test furniture, Cheryl was there throughout the entire process, and helped us to create spaces that made our house feel like a home. If you are looking to redesign your home, I highly recommend working with Cheryl!

You need Cheryl! We were faced with an unexpected move halfway through the pregnancy of our first child, downsizing from a single family home to an apartment that was half the size. We knew we needed help to shed nearly half our furniture and design our new space. We interviewed multiple interior designers and knew from our first phone call with Cheryl that we wanted to work with her. She is professional, knowledgeable, creative, and easy to talk to. Cheryl was with us every step of the way throughout our move - from coming to our house to help determine what furniture we should take vs. sell, measuring our new space, meeting us for lunches downtown for design planning, joining us on shopping trips to look for new pieces...we could go on and on. She listened carefully to our needs and designed a space that reflected our personality and felt like home. She also ensured our furniture was baby-friendly...something we were not thinking about as clueless, first-time parents. We are so lucky to have found her!
