Introduction: We have been successfully in business in San Francisco for over 25 years. We serve our corporate and private clients with all types of menus from breakfasts and lunches, to beautiful hors d'oeuvre buffets and bar service, to a full service sit-down dinners. We specialize in Italian inspired cuisine, but can accommodate any request. We believe in using high-quality, healthy ingredients prepared simply and with care. Our style is unpretentious, but elegant, with excellent food and service. We are family owned and operated. Gabriele Muselli Catering began as a three person team serving gourmet sit-down dinners for clients in their private homes. We were then invited into their companies and organizations, their friends' homes, and beyond. Over the course of three decades we have grown to be one of the finest catering companies in town. We know the power and importance of good food and are inspired by the smiles our food and service bring to our clients' faces. Whatever the size, idiosyncratic character or budget of an event, Gabriele and his people provide invaluable planning assistance, an awesome variety of fabulous food choices, nonpareil professional and welcoming service, and clean-up so swift and thorough that you hardly can tell 200 people moved through your home or meeting room. For close to 30 years,Gariele and his team have orchestrated, in every detail, dozens of classy events for me, my friends and family, and the many legal and judicial organizations I have led--from the highest profile, high pressure professional receptions to important personal celebrations ranging anywhere from 10 to 200 guests. All at a reasonable price and all pain-free because of his consummate talent, taste and professionalism. Gabriele and his team are simply, and always, a class act.

I have used Gabriele's catering services for years. He catered a corporate event I attended and I decided to use him for a personal occasion and have continued to come to him with every catering need. Most recently, I had him cater my best friend's birthday party and it was such a hit. Several guests raved about the food months after the party! I am always beyond impressed with the quality of his food, presentation and service. His appetizers are addicting and his main courses are healthy and hearty. I particularly love his cheese platters - beautiful presentation and so many choices! He and his team are a pleasure to work with and he is my go-to for any event. I can't recommend Gabriele Muselli Catering enough.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by understanding what the client wants and needs for their event. What is the purpose of the event? What is your style? How will the event space be set up? Are there any dietary restrictions to accommodate? We then work to create a menu that is varied, delicious, healthy, abundant and that meets your budget. We have three decades of experience catering events and our clients benefit from this expertise. The goal is to make it easy and enjoyable for you to host an event. Your guests will be impressed with the food and leave happy and full. We are known for being easy to work with and delivering above and beyond quality and service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Gabriele hails from Cremona, in northern Italy, and has been in the food business for over 40 years in Italy, Germany, France and England before starting his business with his wife, Barbara, in San Francisco. He has worked and trained in some of the top restaurants and clubs in the world. His love of good food, good wine and good people is evident in every event we cater.

Our clients are as diverse as they are numerous.
