FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a 45-minute initial consultation session via phone at no charge. In this conversation, I give a bit of background on myself and how I came to coaching, describe the kind of coaching I do, and - most importantly - coach the client for 15-20 minutes. Then we talk about what the experience was like for the client and whether or not we would like to continue working together. If we both agree that we would, we discuss logistics and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute, the oldest coaching institute in the United States, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). I am also accredited through the ICF as an Associate Certified Coach and hold a Masters in Education. I have personally experienced many career and life transitions, having worked in education, law, finance, tech and design and lived all over the United States. I have led career coaching groups at Facebook Headquarters and studied with world-renowned creativity author Julia Cameron. So whether you are in a career transition, seek to realize creative dreams or want to clarify your purpose, let me help spark the creative fire inside you - fostering greater meaning and fulfillment in your life. Because your life is a work of art. Make it a masterpiece!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my coaching training during my time working at Facebook as a Learning & Development Program Manager, initially to build my skillset in my job. As I began coaching clients, however, I fell so much in love with the work that I decided to leave Facebook so I could focus on coaching clients privately, and I've been coaching ever since! It is the most important, fulfilling work I have ever done.
