The initial quote was $2,600. A few extra charges were added, which is expected since moving involves many details if you are not a professional mover. Overall, the price was more than reasonable. The eventual 10-day delivery time was also acceptable. The real issue was the lack of communication once my belongings were picked up. We moved from California to Washington. Matthew explained that delivery could take up to 21 days in a worst-case scenario, but our move should only take 5 to 7 days since it was not cross-country. That seemed reasonable, so I planned accordingly. Seven days passed without any updates. My assigned coordinator, Wendy, could not be reached because her voicemail was full. When I finally got a call back, she offered no empathy or useful information and only repeated that delivery could take up to 21 days. She also confirmed that our belongings were still in California, which contradicted what I had been told. Our things arrived 10 days after pickup. Ten days is not bad at all, but the silence in between was stressful. I could not shake the feeling that if I had not been calling daily, the delivery might have taken even longer. The only proactive update I received was a text from an unknown number two hours before delivery that said, “This is the movers.” What if we had been unavailable? That level of communication is not acceptable. This company needs to set realistic expectations and provide consistent updates. I would have been completely fine with 10 days if that had been explained upfront. There should be at least a basic tracking system. If not, then regular texts or emails with status updates, driver details, and contact information should be the minimum. I even took a week off work to prepare for delivery based on the timeline I was given. That time was wasted because of poor communication and misleading expectations. If they had been communicative, I would absolutely recommend them. The price and delivery timeline were reasonable, but the lack of updates overshadowed what could have been a positive experience.

Loved them! My only note was that they let my stuff slam down every stair and I could hear things breaking. But they were nice and prompt and very professional and kind!
