It’s my first time to hire an interpreter for a Chinese client & I’m glad I found Lyn on this app. She has that positive attitude that would make a client feel comfortable. Moreover, she has that smile on her face which tells you she enjoys her job. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client is unique, and I customize the lessons based on the Chinese level of clients. I like to start with communicating with clients about their levels before I give them language lessons.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love helping people learn a new skills from the scratch. Also, it makes my excited to meet new people and spread my Chinese culture to them. Ever since I started teaching my students Mandarin, I feel so touched and pleasant when I see their process day by day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Most of them are chilled and nice. But mostly the customers I worked with range from the age of 25 to 80.
