Hi! I’m Austin. I’m a math and computer science tutor who loves helping students finally get tough concepts in a way that feels clear and intuitive. I spent three years as a software engineer at Pinterest, where I worked daily with Python, Java, and C++ to build real-world systems. Before that, I graduated with honors in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UT Austin, which gave me a strong foundation in advanced math and problem-solving. I tutor everything from Algebra 1 to BC Calculus and Statistics, and I can help with any high school or college CS course. My teaching style is patient, straightforward, and focused on making even the trickiest topics feel simple and manageable. I’m here to help you build confidence and truly understand the material — not just memorize it. I also provide a short written report after every session so parents stay in the loop and students have a clear record of what we covered. Each report includes the key concepts we worked on, specific progress made, and personalized notes or practice recommendations. This makes it easy to track improvement over time and gives students something concrete to review between sessions.
