Introduction

I approach my students with the assumption that they will do well. Often, American students do not understand the nuances of grammar. I can explain how the grammar in Spanish my reflect the same thing in English. Then, they understand and can master the material. This is true with romance languages which use the subjunctive much more than in English. It is also true of reflexive verbs and their use. I love interacting with my students, and seeing their confidence grow with their mastery of the vocabulary, and use of the language. I enjoy getting to know my families, and take an interest in their activities.

I would like a tutor to be able to explain both grammatical structures, and provide ample use of vocabulary in basic conversation.
