Dr. K Advanced Learning Academy has been in business of Mathematics /Science Instruction and Education Consulting for more than seven years. Professionally specialized in Mathematics instruction and tutoring, we cover Mathematics at all levels from Pre-school to College level advanced Mathematics courses. Examples of courses are Basic Math, Arithmetic, Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, Differential and Integral Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics... We also offer standardized tests preparation (SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, etc.) In addition to tutoring various subjects, our abilities to link ideas from various disciplines make it possible for us to properly guide learners through inter-curricular projects. Working during the past few years as California Credentialed Teacher enabled us to design appropriate lessons for supplemental education. We are as aptly comfortable with working to remedy to skills gap, as providing homework support and preparing for test taking. As a bonus, being bilingual (French/English with French as first language) has allowed us to help some students to start and hold communication in French, sometimes while earning school credit in French class. In some situations, we use our prior competencies in Computer and Information Technology training to enhance the exploratory experience of our customers. We pride ourselves at being very effective in coaching learners not only to get better grades but also to really strive to understand the subject matter and the reasons why things work the way they do. Our engaging style is in every way positive, supportive, and also fun. We explain difficult math and science concepts in simple English and continue working with the students until the concepts are mastered. All our students experience improvement in their grades, while taking advantage of advice on test-taking strategies and study skills development, which usually lessen anxiety and stress during the learning process.
