I worked with Lauren to have a mural painted on the side of a building I own in a small town in Iowa. Lauren was very flexible and helpful with interpreting my goals for the mural into a beautiful and attractive piece. Her color blends exude happiness and I've already had numerous community members comment on the bold pop of colors, which is exactly what I wanted! The other awesome thing about this project is how Lauren was able to interpret what I asked for into what I really wanted :) At the end of the day, its a piece I can feel proud of as an Iowan, is incredibly beautiful, and gets the neighborhood talking in a good way. Overall, very happy to have worked with Lauren and would highly recommend!

I found Lauren when researching murals online - after speaking with her I knew that I had found someone who truly understood the kind of design I was looking for. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mural pricing is based on square footage and complexity of design. Custom designed murals start at $25 per square foot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins by discussing your project goals and the vision you have for your space. We then gather dimensions and photos of the space to create mood boards as well as an estimate of the overall project. This allows us to help you envision the final product and adjust the design accordingly. Once the design is approved, final preparation and installation can begin.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a hand lettering teacher, author, and independent muralist, I have had the opportunity to help a wide variety of clients achieve their artistic goals over the past 6 years. From commercial spaces and schools to downtown city projects, I love helping people create spaces that make an impact.
