I've done several bootcamps but never really worked one on one with a trainer. Thank goodness Chris was my first trainer! I was scared because I assumed I wouldn't be able to keep up with the workout, but from the first day of training, he helped me set out my goals for strength work and tied it with my running. Our first day, he worked with me in strengthening my core, and I was introduced to the good ol' TRX! It was very difficult for me, but Chris just has a spirit about him that makes you want to push on through the pain --very motivating trainer that challenges you but not to the point where you get scared of working out with him again. He knows about progression through his own fitness journey and reminded me that even thought the first sessions will be tough, continuing with the workouts will help me get better and achieve my fitness goals. My first session was about an hour and a half at a studio in the Mission, and I was actually late to the session (so sorry!). When I finally showed up, Chris didn't turn me away and was very welcoming. He recorded down my fitness goals and whether I was experiencing any aches/pains, then we went straight to work! I don't think I've had a workout like that in years! If you're hesitant in working with a trainer out of the fear that you might be judged, go and work with Chris! He makes the sessions fun and helps you realize your health and fitness potential through his exercises. You won't even feel like you're working out... until the next day when your muscles are praising you for all the hard work you've done. Thanks again, Chris! Keep up the good work :)

Chris helped me train for multiplie marathons. He really listened to my needs and customized a workout program that targeted my specific goals. In addition, he was such a motivating trainer and provided so much support and encouragement along the way. He spent more time with me when I needed it, was always punctual and really helped me to achieve my goals. I would definitely recommend Chris as an excellent personal trainer.

Pros: friendly & funny; punctual & patient; motivating & modifications on the spot (speak up if you need them!); keeps updated with all things TRX; all around nice guy. Cons: he's no longer at my gym😞
