- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free 20 minute consults and family discounts! Two students from the same family and household may have back to back lessons for a 10% discount. 30 minute lesson= $50 45 minutes= $75 60 minutes= $90
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will get to know each other and I will learn your skill level and interests. The first lesson is often a learning process for me, so I may discover where to start. If you're an experienced student, and you know exactly what you want to work on then we can jump right in. You will walk away from your first lesson with something specific to practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began piano lessons when I was six years old and I was enrolled in choir at age five. I've been singing and playing the piano ever since. I received a minor in piano performance in college. I began teaching a year or so after graduation. For ten years I taught at a highly regarded music school that trained me in piano pedagogy. Eventually I decided to venture off and teach only through my own studio. Outside of teaching, I have spent twenty years writing, recording and performing my own music as a singer-songwriter. I have seven full-length albums and several singles and I've toured internationally.
