Ben arranged a series of both professional portraits along with casual b-sides for a magazine interview for our small boutique law firm. He did an amazing job getting our attorneys to look their sharpest and was a master of controlling the room and his gear. His lenses are outstanding and his experience in variety will leave you confident in whatever you are needing.

I’ve had my modeling digitals, actor headshots, and creative modeling portfolio shots taken by Ben. With those photos, I’ve gone on to sign with a modeling and acting talent agency — needless to say Ben is a very talented photographer that can cover a wide spectrum from headshots, portraits, beauty, and more. He also has a large studio space with lots of natural light.
When working with him, Ben is meticulous about getting the lighting perfect to make you look really good. He understands how to accentuate your unique features. And as someone who came in with no experience in getting my photos taken, he collaborates with you and makes gentle suggestions to make you feel comfortable and pose naturally. Plus, he plays some cool tunes to get the creative juices flowing each time :)

Ben is an absolute joy to work with! We have shot several head shot and lifestyle photoshoots together. He is always super receptive to what I’m looking to achieve with each shoot. I typically hate having my photo taken, but working with Ben has given me a new level of comfort and confidence whenever I’m in front of the camera!

Ben is the best photography I’ve worked with in the Bay Area! If you’re in San Francisco, he has a studio with great lighting for you to work with. He can also come to you too! I’ve had my holiday cards done with him for as long as I can remember. The way he shoots them is editorial style, which adds a little bit of flair — exactly what my family needs. He also does great headshots, great for updating my LinkedIn! Definitely check him out if you’re interested, his portfolio is simply amazing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For me to get you the most accurate quote, I would need to know how many final shots you're expecting and what you're expecting the final product to look like.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As somebody doing this full time for years, I make sure a first time customer has all of their questions or concerns addressed and feels as comfortable as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with many commercial photographers starting out and have performed various duties in photography studios from technical roles to shooting.
