Hi, I’m Babak, a swim instructor based in San Francisco with over 25 years of swimming experience. I focus on helping swimmers build confidence, improve technique, and feel safe and comfortable in the water; whether you’re a beginner or looking to level up your skills. I’m also an open-water swimming enthusiast and have completed long-distance swims, so endurance and efficient technique are a big part of my coaching approach. I have access to some pools in San Francisco and I’m also happy to teach at your home or a friend’s pool if it allows private lessons. If you’re located outside San Francisco, I can only take on lessons if you already have access to a suitable pool, as I don’t have pool references in other cities.
