FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Any one who is seriously considering the potentially life changing results of hypnotherapy will start with serious questions and concerns. Be sure to do your homework and be sure you choose a hypnotherapist who you can relate to -- and one who is compassionate, empathetic, and competent. Referrals from friends and wellness or medical professionals can be a start. Organizations such as The National Guild of Hypnotists, The American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists, The World Hypnosis Organization or The American Hypnosis Association could also be a source of information and referrals. Always confirm that the hypnotherapist is certified. The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc.is an excellent educational resource. NGH is a not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Officially founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950 the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism.
