FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is flat rate and quoted before you book. The number I give you is the number you pay. There is no surge pricing at 4am, no meter running in traffic, and no charge for waiting if your flight is delayed. Rates depend on your pickup location and destination, so send me both and I will quote you directly. Round trips are quoted together so your return is confirmed before you travel. No cancellation fee if you give me reasonable notice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You tell me your pickup address, destination, date, and time, plus your flight number if you are getting picked up from an airport. I confirm the flat rate and the pickup time with you directly. On the day, I monitor your flight and adjust if it moves. For arrivals, we connect once you land. After you get off the plane and have your luggage, you let me know, and while you are walking out I am already driving into the terminal. At LAX, once you are outside you send me the column number, 1A, 2A, 3A, and that makes it easy to find each other in the middle of everything. That is the whole process. No app, no dispatcher, no guessing who is picking you up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Almost ten years of professional driving in Southern California, which is the training that actually matters in this work. I hold a clean driving record and I am background checked through Thumbtack. I know the routes between the San Gabriel Valley and LAX, Burbank, and Ontario well enough to plan around traffic patterns rather than react to them, including which terminals back up and when.
