3 lessons already and singing has been much more fun! She is positive, honest, personal, knowledgeable, and a great resource! She's taught me to sing more naturally and how to perform and I'm glad I have the opportunity to learn from her! She certainly has a knack for developing this beautiful art in her clients! Thanks Jan!

Great Teacher! His playing demonstrates a profound knowledge of his instrument. Whether hes teaching you new techniques, chords and inversions, different styles of playing, or the basics of music theory, the lessons are presented in a way tangible to the student. He is better than any guitar player I've seen, so he can take you to the next level if you are already good, or he can help you as a beginner like me.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Paul for about two months now and I feel like I have learned so much already! I am very impressed with his knowledge on music theory and his easy demeanor makes me feel comfortable as I scrape through the chords. He also transposes songs that you request, so you can start learning through those songs instead of just chord progressions. While, also, teaching you how to read the music. I am really proud of my progress and it all has to do with his dedication to me, can't wait to see where I go from here with his guidance! I wholeheartedly recommend him if you are looking to start/get back into guitar.

I have been taking voice lessons from Lou Savage for a few months now he is excellent. He has a great way of referencing a movie or describing a great meal or talking about how a sailboat sails on the water, and how these references can influence singing and learning how to use one's voice in performing. I have really enjoy my time with him. Thank you for everything Lou.

We have a child diagnosed with slight autism. We decided to get a private teacher at home due to the experience of a teacher bullying him in a music school located in Chino. Mr. Garcia has all the patience in teaching our son and he knows how to adjust his teaching lessons with him. Our son is always excited to get music lessons with him. Mr. Garcia is also teaching our 18 y/o daughter guitar. And she is always happy and contented with his teaching techniques. Thank you for doing a great job with my children.

I have been a student of Kim's for the past 4 years. I have had and am still having a wonderful experience. She is a very skilled guitar player and instructor. Her teaching studio is a comfortable and private area, and in addition she has a recording studio separate from her regular teaching studio. The recording studio is where her students get to meet and team up with other musicians and learn the process of playing together and making recordings. This experience at playing as a group with a drummer and other musicians has been invaluable training. Especially if one wishes to go professional. Kim has an extremely sound knowledge of music theory and a way of teaching that varies depending on her students. I would highly recommend Kim as a teacher for all levels of musicians that need additional skill to add to their current knowledge.

He incorporates these important aspects of music appreciation into lessons that he tailors for individual students. His lessons are very well organized and goal-oriented. I definitely recommend him!

Love David! He was my first electric bass teacher, I started taking lessons from him when I was about 15. He's very practical and casual, you know he's not gonna make you play scales up and down with a metronome for the entire lesson. A more typical lesson would be David showing you how to apply a certain mode, or pattern to a particular tune or situation. Then he'll turn on the drum machine and you'll take turns soloing and holding down the groove. He's very inspiring as a teacher, partially because he's such a good bass player and also because he treats his students like serious musicians. After learning from David for a few months I really started to get into music and began practicing rigorously. Great guy and great teacher! Highly recommended!

Linda has been my son's private cello teacher for many years. With her help he jumped straight into the advanced chamber orchestra at high school as a freshman. We recently added music theory to his regular weekly lessons and as a result his grade for his AP music theory class at the high school is a 99.5%. Here's hoping for a 5 on his AP test!

Howard Richman is not a piano teacher...he is a LIFE CHANGER. I went to him to learn piano...but realized that the lessons I learned studying piano with the MASTER were not merely lessons in music....but lessons that helped me see outside the paradigm in all areas of my life. Often, as adults, we "come back" to our music...to study what we have been "wanting to get back to" for years. I learned that this is often a time of great change and evolution for us personally. Howard, being so intuitive, knows how to tune in to each individual's needs.... and empower them to EMPOWER themselves. He is a BRILLIANT pianist, composer and master teacher. I've watched him perform miracles with young children who struggled with other teachers who simply wanted to teach "by the book." Howard is always able to find your inner talent and abilities, possibly that are even unknown to you...and he can creatively, intuitively and intelligently create a course of action that will leave you amazed! That's why you are reading SO many wonderful comments here about him. If you are lucky enough to get to study with Howard, it will change your life!...and btw, I can now play a mean Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata"....Thank you for everything you taught me Howard Richman! I'm a songwriter/composer and first came to Kevin to learn how to sight read and improve my technique. After only a handful of lessons, I was learning music theory, composition techniques, and reading notation. With some hard work and determination, I quickly noticed an improvement in my playing, writing, and ability to read music. Within a couple months I had built a playable repertoire. After 6 months, I was working on material that had once seemed impossible to learn. His teaching methods strengthened my confidence as a musician, while also encouraged my appetite for learning. Kevin is both patient and passionate about teaching. His clear, straight forward way of communicating made it easier to grasp complex musical concepts. He is also a passionate, hard working musician, and beyond excellent pianist. Any aspiring musician could benefit from his wisdom and teaching. This review can't fully capture my gratitude for having Kevin as a teacher and musical mentor.

The first time I got guitar lessons from Michael I learned the beginner guitar chords right away and he knew what pace to go at. He knows where your weaknesses and strengths are and teaches in a way that doesn't feel rushed. He's been my teacher for a few months now and it's always a blast!

I had already been messing around on the guitar for a while, but decided to finally take the plunge and start taking bass lessons here in LA. Simply put, there is nothing that Roman can't do or teach on the bass guitar. Roman formulated a lesson plan centered around my own experience and goals as a musician, which increased my understanding of music as much as my ability to play. In taking music lessons from Roman, you not only get an incredibly knowledgable and experienced instructor, but you also get a funny, laid-back guy who is willing to jam along and offer insight into any musical piece you put in front of him. Roman is truly the total package, and I can't imagine taking music lessons from anyone else.

Pierson is a talented musician with a natural ear for nuance that takes his music from good to great. As an instructor, Pierson translates his expertise and love for music onto the piano keys through his lessons and has fine-tuned my daughter's playing beyond just songs.
