They came, diagnosed, had the part in the truck and installed it. They were pleasant and efficient. Couldn't be happier. Great business!

GilTech appliance provides excellent and prompt service. Unfortunately, in this day and age, appliances are not made to last and so I have GilTech Appliance on speed dial. So far they have fixed my oven, fridge and washing machine quickly and efficiently and for a very reasonable price. The employees are all very respectful which in and of itself is unique! I highly recommend them!

I love the efficiency with which Gilbert is able to identify and fix the issue. He landed up being the 3 person sent by our home warranty company to fix an issue that the pervious repair companies weren't able to fix. He completed the work in 30 minutes flat and seemed surprised it had taken so long to fix. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Have you ever watched YouTube videos of a Mechanic, HVAC or Appliancerepair where you thought "I wish I could get someone that honest and skilled with a good demeanor?" Well this is the guy to see for your appliancerepair. Just awesome. Fixed 2 refrigerators in one go.While I try to resist hovering, I do try to learn from the pro while they are there, but I do not want to be a pest. Gil was great at explaining his train of thought and clarifying if I had a question.Gil has my highest recommendation. With my first ever google review.Info:Kenmore 106.51762510 (2016) - corroded wires to the refrigerator evaporator fan. Wait and see if 3 way valve needs replacing. That gets more expensive.Kenmore 106.55532400 (2004) - just needed a relay. My jaw dropped.

I searched our neighborhood Nextdoor members for referrals this weekend, when our Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series Refrigerator started emitting a noxious burning rubber smell. No business from Nextdoor was willing to check our refrigerator until Monday, EXCEPT Gilbert from GilTech Appliance, Inc, who was referred by his friend Ned who repairs washers and dryers.Gilbert had me take a picture of the Model Number and Information inside the refrigerator and send it to him.He reviewed the schematics and potential necessary parts before he arrived.Gilbert was professional, efficient, and so helpful. He replaced the part, the overload switch, which had burned out was emitting the foul smell.Instead of trying to get me to replace the seal which was leaking air around the freezer door, he used a hot air gun to reshape it.He also fixed the door to our dishwasher. The fee for his service was $250, which I paid by check. He took a picture of the lowest shelf in the refrigerator, which needs replacing because it now rests on the crisper drawers and makes them difficult to open. He will be ordering this part for us.Gilbert is both knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend his service.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing it fair and same as the market! We do have $80.00 diagnose fee which will be waived upon estimate approval.
That means we come over and after diagnosing the issue, will provide an estimate, if customer rejects it for any reason (for example want to buy a new one), then will charge the customer $80.00 and if customer accepts the estimate, then $80.00 will go toward repair :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I asked the customers either Email or Text their info and then will create the work order on my side so I can have it in the system and can track it later on step by step.
Then will have the customer on the schedule based on the soonest
or more convenient availability.
After Diagnosing the issue will provide an estimate and upon approval, if we have the part in our van, will fix it and if not then has to be ordered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do have computer, mechanic and electrical background and thats why it is much easier for me to understand the issue and work with the fully integrated appliances these days.
I am also EPA certified which allows me to work on the refrigeration and I am specialized in the sealed system issues.
