I had the pleasure of working with Joey from Subia Construction on my recent kitchen renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Joey is not only incredibly skilled and professional, but also an exceptionally patient and trustworthy person.
From the beginning, he thoughtfully designed my kitchen layout, including a well-planned spice rack and beautifully organized drawers. He also suggested the addition of a pantry, which made a big difference in making the space more functional. I was initially very stressed about the process—especially the demolition of the old kitchen and the removal of all appliances—but Joey handled everything seamlessly from start to finish.
He answered every single one of my questions—probably over a hundred—both before and during the project. I had many concerns going in, but Joey consistently reassured me with his clear, timely communication and remarkable patience. He always took the time to explain everything clearly in detail and followed through by delivered exactly what he promised.
What impressed me most is that Joey doesn’t work just for money—he truly works for customer satisfaction. He completed everything outlined in the contract with no hidden charges, and he even went above and beyond by taking care of extra work without hesitation. He patched drywall holes, replaced three door hinges, and installed recessed lights just to ensure the entire kitchen came together perfectly.
From demolition to plumbing, electrical work, and final installation, Joey managed the entire process with care and expertise. The final result is a beautiful, efficient, and functional kitchen that I absolutely love.
Thank you, Joey and the Subia Construction team, for your dedication and outstanding work. I highly recommend Joey to anyone looking for a smooth, honest, and high-quality renovation experience.

Joey did a great job renovating my kitchen, replacing countertop and cabinets. Joey patiently answered all questions, provided multiple design options and cost estimates for each option. Joey and his team provided excellent service. Project was well managed and completed on time. There were some quality issues, he quickly fixed those. We had some outdated countertops & decided to freshen them up with quartz, a new sink, and a faucet. Joey was super responsive & communicated about the entire project every step of the way. He laid out a detailed quote with measurements that was easy to understand. He sent us a website to pick out countertops, we picked out a few and he gave us prices.
We were extending our cabinets & didn’t have them leveled and installed, as the flooring beneath them needed to be removed. We asked if he would be willing to charge us & do it for us as we thought he would do a better job then us. He was able to take that on, and did a great job!
He was very communicative about every aspect of what he was doing, and that is very important in this business. I’ll share some photos below. You can see where we extended the kitchen counter as the cabinets do not match. We will be painting everything to look uniform soon, but wanted to share the countertops & how they look! We are beyond happy with everything! I’ll add before pics too.
Thank you again Joey! You and your team were great. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire you guys again.

Every contractor that I contacted refused to even hear what my job entailed without me agreeing to a minimum of $5000 in labor. I guess thats some industry standard? But when I contacted Joey at Subias Granite and left a message he responded within an hour and he at least gave me the time of day to hear what my problem was. I needed a contractor to come in and rescue me from a previous nightmare contractor who turned my kitchen into a Frankenstein. Joey agreed to do the job over and I had to start from scratch but he directed me to his webpage where I was able to see the quality of work that he does and I felt confident that he could help me undo what the previous contractor did. Long story short Joey was in and out within two days. He did a demolition of my countertops and installed new beautiful quartz and the difference between his job and the previous contractor was night and day. He did not do any of the work in my driveway like the previous contractor did. He took the stone to his shop and worked his magic and then bought it to my house and installed it and it’s shiny and sparkly. His seams are not noticeable unlike the previous seams I had. If not for the pattern of the stone you would never know where the joints meet. The corners are nice and rounded and finished and polished. There is no gaps or spacing. That was a pet peeve of mine. Visible seams and gaps in poor spacing which made the previous job look awful. Joey‘s work was A+ and if I could give more than five stars I would. If you want someone who pays very close attention to the tiny details of every corner and every space then go with Joey and you will not be disappointed I promise you that. I have posted photos of the first job and photos of what Joey did to fix it. He closed the gaps and gave me invisible joints and I am 100% satisfied.
