Lacee is the best at what she does. I spent an absurd amount of hours trying to find the right beauty stylist for my engagement shoot and wedding day. Since my skin is acne prone and unpredictable, I was really lucky to find Lacee who is very skilled at airbrush makeup, and worked magic in making my skin look flawless. Not only is she experienced with makeup, she transformed the frizzy mess of my hair into a gorgeous updo. When doing my bridal preview with her, she made meticulous notes of which makeup style and color palette would work best with my face and really understood the heart of what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. Her warmth and expertise put me at ease and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I always felt that I could turn to her for advice for questions (e.g. should I have natural looking makeup or go all out glamorous and swanky, cat eye, smoky eye, nude or red lips?) and that she would give me honest feedback on how it would look. Not only is she great to have on the day of, but also sends bits of excellent advice throughout the whole process, with reminders to stay hydrated, get rest, and exfoliate. On the day of, she had great control of the time, and guided me through my two looks a glamorous updo with natural makeup for the tea ceremony, and restyled my hair into a softer half up look and more dramatic makeup for the wedding ceremony and reception. I really adored both styles. I will always remember how she helped me put in my veil 5 minutes before the ceremony, and left me with a little present of a glamkitti (the most adorable makeup kit, with everything I needed to touch up (oil blotting paper, lipstick, powder). At the end of the night, my hair and makeup stayed intact through all the dancing, crying, and laughter. Future brides, book with Lacee and know that you are in extremely capable hands.
