(I post this in Yelp, but will post my review here on Thumbtack, too!) DJ Evensteven is so chill and a professional. If you're looking for a DJ, choose DJ Evensteven! I contacted him to DJ my wedding about 6 months in advance. We are very lucky that we booked him because he handled business smoothly (contract, deposit, and remaining payment). He also checked in with me prior to the wedding several times. He's a professional who follows up and makes sure we're all set. At our wedding reception, he went with the day's itinerary, played a great at of songs that catered to all age groups (he kindly took many song requests too!), and took over for our MC when we danced the night away. I wish I had another event because I'll definitely want to book him again!

I offer DJ and photobooth service. If you're interested in booking both, I take 10% off the total amount
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts off with an inquiry via email, phone, or text. I need general info such as date, location, number of guests, and genres of music interested in. From there, I generate a quote and explain what's provided
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained on how to DJ by my manager and colleague when I worked for a mobile DJ company. I was taught how to mix and transition songs, reading a crowd, and having a plan of what to play throughout the beginning, middle, and end of an event
