We had drywall and backer board done in the kitchen backsplash areas. Old popcorn ceilings removed and repaired in living room, hall and two bedrooms, then painted. What a great team they are, we are going to do more work in the near future and look forward to calling them again! The extra thought they put in to the job, just to make it easier for us thru the process was much appreciated!

Mike gave us a great price to repair and texture our drywall. He even installed the new base board. His whole team was very professional. They were able to repair an oops with our base so well that we can't tell where the crack was. I'm planning on having them back when we paint our master bedroom

When I hired Michael to do the job, he was very professional and the price was very good. However, he never completed the job 100%. In addition, when he thought he completed the job, he demanded payment right away. (This is understanding) I did pay him a day after, (but due to some family emergencies), I was not able to see the completed job on that day. Since his still demanded payment, I gave him my trust and completed the payment for him (without me seeing the place). I went down to the place and checked the work he has completed. A few things was not fixed: - 1. Baseboard (Bedroom Closet) was not put back on. (I have a picture, but Thumbtack does not have an option for photo posting) - 2. Toilet was still leaking after flushing from the bottom. - 3. Baseboard from the kitchen was not fitted correctly and there is a large gap between the floor and baseboard. - 4. Refused to give a "proof of paid" invoice sheet When my realtor asked for a completed "PAID" invoice, he refused to give this to me. For me, I do not need this. However, since I have sold my place to a new buyer, they need to ensure they have evidence that this was paid (so the contractor will not go after the owner of the home. Which should be understanding). All Michael needed to do is put a stamp that shows "PAID" (you can buy this stamp on Amazon for a few bucks and I think this would be a good investment for your business) or even write "PAID" with a "DATE" and his "SIGNATURE", just so the new buyer can have a sense of comfortability that they are not responsible for the payment. For whatever reason (and we asked for this), Micheal never did provided this to us. As for #1, this a human mistake (and we all make mistakes). I can forgive them for this. For #2 and #3, this is a questionablity of experience of the contractor In the end, I paid another $180 to pay another contractor to fix #1, 2, and 3. #4 is UNACCEPTABLE and I have met his demands for payment. This is just a simple request (AFTER I PAID HIM) that he did not do. I think every client has a right for this as this is their proof of payment. He appeared to be to focused for his next job ($$) in Holister, CA.
