Hi, I'm Sansan! I’m a lifestyle and documentary photographer behind Sansan Photography, based in the San Francisco Bay Area and fluent in both English and Mandarin. For me, photography is more than taking pictures—it is about creating heartfelt and natural images that carry the depth of your story. My work is guided by a love for authenticity, for those fleeting gestures and quiet emotions that reveal who you truly are. I believe the most powerful photographs are not staged or forced, but timeless reflections of genuine connection and presence. Through my lens, I hope to capture not only how life looks, but how it feels—intimate, poetic, and uniquely yours. Beyond photography, two passions have profoundly shaped the way I see the world: ballet and cooking. Ballet allows me to explore and observe the subtleties of my own body, teaching me to notice every detail of movement and expression. Cooking, on the other hand, grounds me in the warmth of life—the quiet joy, the comfort of belonging, the beauty of ordinary days shared with loved ones. Together, they give me a deeper sensitivity to the families, couples, and individuals I photograph—their tenderness and strength, their joys and sorrows, their moments of connection.
