I recently called Presto to get some advice on how to get a handle on a bug problem in my yard. Jim answered all my questions, came to the house, did a full inspection of the yard and advised me on the type of bugs I had, and how to get rid of them. A prompt quote was provided. I was a bit worried due to the fact that I have dogs in my yard, but he reassured me that nothing he uses is harmful to pets. From there I allowed him to handle everything. And needless to say I am very pleased with the service. I have yet to see an ant, earwig or spider in my yard and it has been over 3 weeks. Knowledgeable, professional and courteous is how I would describe the service provided by Presto. I highly recommend Presto Pest Control to anyone looking for professional, affordable and thorough pest control services.

The shelter in place has really put the focus on all of the projects at the house that need to taken care of. We kept hearing noises coming from the attic at night but wasn't sure what it was. The noises stopped and we figured that the problem went away only to realize that it had returned. Then we found rodent droppings under the sink which was totally gross, we realized that it was rats making their way into our kitchen. We knew then that we had to get rid of them and right away. We called a few pest control companies but they couldn't get someone out to remove the rats until later in the week. We decided to give Presto a try hoping they would be fast. I called them and they had someone come out to our home within an 1 hour. I didn't mind paying for the inpsection fee because it was deducted from the total cost of the serice. They pointed out all of the places around the house that the rats were able to access into the home. They provided me with a quote to repair them and begin to trap the rats in the attic. We didn't realize that the bird seed that we had in the backyard was a feeding source for the rats until it was pointed out to us. It was recommended that we also install bait around the house since we had a creek and open field next door. I was hesitant because I have little ones and animals not wanting them to be exposed to chemicals. They explained the rat poison they use is multifeeding which is less toxic and that everything was approved for use in California. I'm so glad we had chosen Presto because our rat problem is gone! We found one dead rat under a log in the backyard but it was explained there were more rats dead becuase all the bait was gone indicating there were a lot. We no longer hear any noises in the attic and we make sure that the bird feeder does not spill the seed onto the ground. They solved our problem so fast and explained everything that they would be doing ahead of time. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their problem gone for good and fast. Amy

We had a flea infestation in the past few months. I was reluctant to call a professional to handle it because of the pandemic. I did a lot to get rid of fleas but things only became worse. Finally, I called Jim. Now I wish I had called him on the first day. Jim is one of the most honest and considerate persons I've met. He came on time, wearing a mask. He nicely explained to me what the steps are both over the phone and before he started. He also texted me about all the cautions I need to take after he finished his job, which was impeccable. Most importantly, he charges a very fair price. Finding Jim is like finding a hidden gem. Jim also voluntarily checked in with me after a week of his job, asking about any issues. I was so touched by his service. To be honest, I had all kinds of service done at my house by different professionals: Jim is the best.

I own over 100 apartment units spread out throughout California that have been serviced by a well known pest control company. As a landlord, it can be difficult sometimes to manage all of the problems that arise trying to manage so many units. After tenants report a problem, I just want to assign the issue to a vendor that can solve the problem right away and not have to worry about it any longer. That's just not always the case with invasive pests such as german roaches and bed bugs. If they aren't addressed immediately they can spread to other units in a short amount of time. Typically I create a work order and send it off to the pest control vendor only to have them come back multiple times to treat the same unit for months never resolving the issue. I finally decided it was time to try something different and called Presto to see if they would be any different. I explained that the unit was heavily infested with roaches and has been treated multiple times. They came out the same day and suggested using an Actisol treatment used for severe infestations, that I had never heard of this service before. Wow, was I surprised at the results after just one treatment, they had created a mass graveyard of roaches all over the kitchen floor. I checked back with the tenants who said that the single treatment had completely wiped out all of the roaches. At another site a unit that had reported to previously have bed bugs was treated by another company had came back. I tried Presto on that unit as well and they used a three step treatment process. The final process was the use of a bacteria that attaches itself to bed bugs killing them. The tenants who previously were complaining of bites had stopped. I've worked with various vendors over the years, I was fortunate to have found Presto making the stress of managing the units simple and smooth.

I don't write reviews often but I just felt compelled to write one for Presto Pest Control. Because I can't say enough good things and thanks about Jim, the owner. We had a severe infestation of rodents and ground squirrels during COVID last summer. Left a message for Jim in the morning and got an appointment in the afternoon. He spent more than an hour and half walking around inside and outside of the 4 buildings at church to check if there were any entry points for those critters. Jim sent me the service report that evening. The report is very detailed with pictures. It suggested that using volunteers from church to perform exclusion works. He even sent me the links to purchase ground squirrel bait stations and baits, bait stations and bait and traps for rats to save money for the church. He even donated some ground squirrel bait stations and bait. One Saturday morning, Jim instructed 7 volunteers to set the bait stations around the church and make sure we fixed/blocked all the gaps/holes to the building. Also, to set the traps inside the buildings and sub-areas for rats. Got final invoice, it's no charges!! Serving God supposed be free!! Thank you, Jim. Can not say THANK YOU enough. Nemo..
