Emily's Mandarin Corner

I am a native Mandarin Chinese Speaker who loves teaching, exploring different fields, and making friends. I was born and raised in Taiwan, and live in Northern California currently. I have a bachelor degree in Taiwan, and a master degree from Rossier School of Education, USC. Before the class, I will have a brief telephone session with you to ensure we are the right fit. After assessing your current Mandarin proficiency level, I will design suitable curriculum and materials for your needs and interests. I will also continuously monitor your progress to ensure your needs are being met. I am looking to establish solid relationships with students who wants to learn Mandarin for pleasure, school, or business. I spend time on talking about proper ways to speak Mandarin and discussing cultural differences between western and eastern. I also take my student to different settings as needed since I believe they learns the best through real life experiences.
