- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I have taken classes to improve my photo editing skills, kind of like learning the dark room all over again. I really like to keep it real, but sometimes things need to be fixed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was interested in art, but could barely draw a stick figure. I picked up a camera, and was able to compose and shoot right away, fell in love with the dark room. I placed in a couple contests and was published. I thought if I could get paid to do this, what a life. For many years I have been a cameraman & lighting Professional for Film and Video projects. In the last few years I've getting back to my childhood roots with still photography, theres a certain satisfaction working directly with the client. That collaboration is key to achieve the right look in the final images. I quickly gain a rapport with the client, help them relax and that leads to great results.
