I specialize in Maternity, First Year, (and more) portrait photography in and around San Jose, CA. I am a mother of three toddlers and have a passion for all things related to pregnancy, birth, and children. I understand the joys and challenges of being a new or new-again mamma, and do my best to work with my clients to provide them with a service that works for them. I happily provide both in studio and in home newborn photography. I do my best to create studio quality images within the comfort of my client's home, and I strive to create even more creative images in studio where I have my full selection of props and backdrops available to me. I pride myself on making the process of portrait photography easy and enjoyable. Let me give you a few thoughts to take into consideration when comparing me to less expensive photographers. I have 12 years of portrait experience, and 4 of those years of newborn experience. I'm also a mother of three toddlers under 4. I understand the patience required for working with newborns and, more than anything, I put your baby's safety first. I use safe and simple poses and I am vaccinated. My package requires no additional purchase of prints or products. I also set only a minimum number of delivered images. I promise 15, but nearly all of my clients receive more. My newborn clients also receive a custom designed birth announcement, a video birth announcement, and a word art piece. I strongly encourage my clients to print their favorite images and give instructions on the best options, but clients are not obligated to buy through me. No matter what kind of photos I'm creating for my clients, I want my clients to feel taken care of and cared for while they are working with me. Hearing that a client felt comfortable and enjoyed their time with me is my most favorite compliment because the process is as important as the pictures. Capturing the early days of a baby's life is a special privilege. Babies change so quickly that photographing milestone moments of their first year makes me happy because I know that I'm creating special memories of these fleeting moments for families I work with. It's too easy to be caught in the survival mode that a new baby can bring upon any family. I get to give the parents a short break while I create long lasting and special memories for now and for future generations of their family to look back on and enjoy.
