- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know you so I know how to best help. I start with a career audit - what do you want to start, stop, and continue doing in your career, what has brought you joy, pride, satisfaction, and distinction. Once we know your ideal job, I write the résumé, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile. If you wish to continue beyond the résumé, then we set your job search strategy, which includes networking and how to use job boards and aggregators. We work on your interview answers and I conduct recorded mock interviews. And when you get job offers, I will help you with the negotiations so that you land the job you love.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Senior Professional Career Coach, and I am nearing completion of my Master Professional Career Coach certification.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For over 10 years, I coached sales reps for peak performance in tech and healthcare industries. I was always amazed at how gratifying and enjoyable the work was, and how satisfied I felt when a sales rep not only hit but exceeded quota. Who knew I could be so passionate about helping others succeed! I started coaching full-time to help job seekers realize their dreams.
