About this pro
My style of training is different than any other trainer you'll find. Most trainers target muscle groups, and prescribe exercise with goals of building muscle or burning calories. Instead, I like to focus on mobility to enhance power, flexibility, endurance, and coordination at once. No weights, no push-ups, burpees, or dead lifts. Just good ol bodily movement and core mobility. I like making the world a better place, by helping people to be happier and healthier. It feels good to help other people feel good and make improvements in their lives. I am most fulfilled when my clients become "better people" after my sessions. They function better, feel better, and act better because they have more energy and awareness.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start with goal setting and some personal questions. During the first few sessions, I tend to talk a lot and make things easier so we can ease into the workload that will get you results. I also get to know you better by asking questions, talking, and going slow. The better I know you, the better I am at deciding how to train you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have two degrees in kinesiology at Purdue. I'm a certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified personal trainer, and CPR certified. I was a collegiate and professional athlete, and I created my own fitness system called Combat Circuit.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was born into it. In 6th grade I mowed lawns all summer to buy myself a weight lifting set. I've been active and dynamic all my life, and I just enjoy movement. Watching someone pursue a goal is better than any movie you could film.
