We are Sybex Studio, your one stop shop for professional content!
We own and operate a 3,000 sq ft. studio space for any project of any scale.
Our work has been featured on ABC, CBS and other TV networks by millions of viewers. Inspired by a unique background in graphic design, visual effects and digital sculpting, photographer and artist. I discovered my true passion for imagery when I first gazed through the lens of a camera shortly after graduating, and went on to create my own signature pieces while also acting as director of photography for a diverse range of projects. Now, I create dramatic and dream-like images of realistic settings that combine a directors clever eye for composition with an imaginative approach to editing and processing that results in truly magnificent pieces. We are fully sponsored by top equipment companies such as Anton Bauer, Litepanels, Sachtler and SmallHD as well as have our own studio space. No project is too small for us!

Very easy to work with. Booth operators were very kind and helpful. They printed our logo on the photo strips which was cool, and provided us (the agency) with digital proofs of all the photos which was also very cool. Props were supplied for great fun and humor.

I have seen many photobooths throughout my career as an event promoter and have worked with many individuals. I have to say Ruben is very kind and goes out of his way to help his clients and make sure everyone is having a great time during the event. His photobooth setup is very clean and people enjoyed his fun props. It was really the highlight of the event and i am very glad we booked with Sybex. We will be using their service again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer the best prices in the bay area and we go above and beyond to give extra services. Our work is more important than price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I get a new client I go over their needs and style preferences and budget. Next I have a shot list I usually use and I go over it with the client to make sure it works for them, or to see if they would like to add any additional shots. I also usually like to visit the venue or site that they will have me shooting at. I also like to coordinate with any other vendors the client may be using. I also make sure to stay in contact with clients on the days leading up to the event to make sure they do not have any additional questions or requests prior to their event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Gnomon School of Visual Effects in North Hollywood.
