Introduction: Hello, my name is Emileo. I am a 21-year-old freelance photographer with experience in capturing timeless moments for magazines, celebrities, brands, engagements, etc. I have a deep passion for photography because I believe every photo tells a story. I have over four years of experience in many different environments: landscape, studio's, real estate, businesses, portraits, and family photos. My goal is to take the best photos with the best customer service possible! So how will we approach the photoshoot? The closer I can make it feel like you're not at a photoshoot, the better. This makes the photos turn out really natural and beautiful. I do shoot digital and also on film, during your session we could shoot one or the other or both! Emileo and his assistant did a phenomenal job with my surprise proposal! They went above and beyond to not give away that they were photographers until after the proposal and the photos came out amazing. Emi did an awesome job wrangling our crew of 8 for photos in Carmel! He made sure that we were comfortable and was amenable to our ideas for different shots. He also fired away on plenty of shots to make sure we captured all the moments. Super easy to get along with also!

Emileo was very responsive on all of concerns. We change dates and times several times due to weather or just timing of my schedule but Emileo was never annoyed or frustrated. He was very patient and made it just very comfortable for me for a surprise proposal. That’s what happens when it’s a surprise, things happens. Thank you for adjusting on the fly and he even took the time to scout the area before the big day. It was super private and weather turned out to be just perfect.

I wish our overall experience of working with Emileo was more positive. I found initial interaction with him to be very timely and super friendly but this communication started to taper off after the photoshoot was over and the wait began for the photos. He was extremely flexible with our budget since we only wanted a 30 minute photoshoot (this ended up being only a 20 minute photoshoot by the end of it). I appreciate his flexibility a lot. Emileo is extremely friendly but didn’t have a lot of pose ideas for us and I’m glad we went with some ideas otherwise I’m not sure it would have been a productive shoot. Also I wish that Emileo- as the one with the camera and the view of the couple would have told us when hair was blocking our face or if something didn’t look right. We were not super pleased with the end result and editing because of this and we were also told that people would be cut from the background but none of this was done in the final edit. It was also hard to get responses from him post the photoshoot. All in all, I appreciate his flexibility with our budget but the overall experience truly left us wanting more and personally regretting the 3 hour drive from the Bay to get nice pictures at Pismo.
