- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I deliver high resolution quality digital photos ready for printing, posting and/or publishing without the high price tag.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always love hearing my customers wedding stories first! How they met, fell in love and what brought them to their special day. It gives me an idea of who they are, what is being planned and what needs to be captured to commemorate the special day! After that I get very logical regarding the process, (eg: location of venue, outdoor vs. indoor, height of people in wedding party and family, etc.) I love the warm fuzzy feelings but most of the process to achieve great photos is a methodical and calculated approach to the day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in Architecture first at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill then transferred to UC Berkeley. Majoring in Architecture helped me to understand lighting and angles. We see things every day, but when we take a moment to appreciate what work went into a building or landscape and how the light catches it, then we look at it a bit differently...THAT is what good photography is about...different perspectives and that is what I aim to deliver to each client.
