My fiancé hired the lovely ladies of MNMAL to assist me with my wardrobe as a birthday gift. I have really struggled with my style for a very long time, but after having my son- it got a lot worse. I mostly turned to my fiancé’s baggy shirts and loose jeans as my everyday wear. This whole experience has been really great for me! I felt a lot of excitement throughout the entire process. I really felt I was in good hands right from the first phone call. I definitely have been pushed out of my comfort zone and for the first time in a really long time I feel confident in my clothing choices and what looks good on me. I think it’s so easy to be comfortable with the clothes you wear even if you’re not necessarily happy in them and that was me. I really could not have done this without the help of MNMAL, because at the end of the day- you don’t know what you don’t know, so it was really helpful to have a guiding hand. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We’re offer free consulting sessions so the customer feels confident in their choice before moving forward.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get to know their relationship with style, find out their preferences and what they feel they need to improve on. We then help them get rid of, make use of or welcome in certain clothing items to equip them with the best foundation for a complete wardrobe.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’ve both been working in the retail and fashion space for 10 years. We have our own minimalist clothing store where we do all of the styling/curating. Our backgrounds are in communications and business so that really helps us with understanding and coming to common ground with clients.
