Nate is great to get lessons from! I took guitarlessons for three years and I recommend him for these reasons a couple reasons. He’s very knowledgable about so many different different aspects of playing music and producing music, its impossible to have nothing new to learn or do. He has a wide variety of exercises that helped improve my musicianship. He’s very friendly, and worked to help me best accomplish my music goals. I learned some of my favorite songs with Nate’s help and I can say I improved a lot by doing more and more challenging songs. I also enjoyed asking him questions I had about music and because he’d always be able to explain the answer in a way that makes sense. Nate is the best instructor I’ve had.

Nate has been a very patient piano teacher for the last 4 years with my restless (now) 10 year old son. He has lots of fun methods to keep him focused and engaged. While it took some time for my son to learn the basics, he now happily plays piano every single day.

Nate is an excellent piano teacher. He is very friendly and easy to work with. And he clearly has years of experience as a musician (when he just jams and solos for a bit, my mind is blown every time) and as a teacher and can make the learning experience enjoyable for any student. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Current Prices:
30 mins = $60
45 mins = $80
60 mins = $100
I have a little bit of wiggle room, but my prices are set higher because of all my extensive training & expertise - you get what you pay for :) I require payment to be received before the session starts. I also require sufficient notice for cancellations & will still charge for missed lessons - cancelling the night before is fine but an hour before isn't.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always allow things to evolve organically - I find that doing this ensures we focus on what goals & areas of interest are most important to the customer.
