Jose is always a joy to work with! He has been exceedingly flexible with appointments, operates in a clean & relaxing environment, and is always receptive to how I respond during sessions. I initially selected Jose for his eclectic approach; he is knowledgeable in a multitude of techniques, and he is able to create a customized session for me each time I have sessions with him. If you're the type to stick to a method that works for you, I'm sure Jose would also be happy to accommodate! His hospitality behaviors are also very comforting - I can tell he takes pride in his work and continuously puts forth efforts to ensure I'm comfortable. From offering water and music selection to encouraging me to take my time right after a session, I can tell he has my best interests at heart. By doing so, he is able to provide a relaxing experience throughout the onset, duration, and offset of the session. What I also like about Jose is that he checks in a few days after sessions to ensure things are going OK (e.g., how to manage any residual soreness or other tidbits of information he noticed during the session). He is very professional, and I look forward to continuing to work with him and reap the benefits of his skills.

I’ve had quite a few massages in my life, and last year, I moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a new massage therapist. I took a chance at getting a deep tissue massage from Jose at the Healing Hands Spa in San Ramon, and I say this without exaggeration -- it was the best I’ve ever had. Since then, I’ve been going to Jose at least once a month for a two hour session. He is clearly talented in many different modalities, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and sports massage, all of which I’ve greatly enjoyed. Each new session seems to be better than the last, as Jose deftly adapts to working with my body and personal goals. After each session, I feel a profound sense of relaxation; for days afterwards, I feel more in tune with my body, from heightened mental clarity and well-being, to increased flexibility and improved performance when working out. I’m still amazed at the significant positive differences that I experience each time. Without a doubt, Jose is highly skilled at his craft. He’s also dependable, always on time, and very hard-working. I confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a massage therapist!

I offer discounts for first time clients on 90/120 minute sessions. I also reward clients who schedule more than once within 30 days.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have new clients fill out a one page intake form to evaluate your body’s current state and rule out contraindications as well as taking note of your preferences.
