Getting Artsy

Getting Artsy is about making art a creative and fun learning experience to students of all ages. Art is the best form of expression and this is exactly what I teach my students. Having started art from the age of 6, it’s an endless journey that I feel so drawn to. I have more than nine years of teaching experience both kids and adults of all ages. Professional yet easy going so the students don’t feel the pressure or get overwhelmed, instead I help them explore different kinds of art and unlock their true style and potential. I work along the individual interests and will customize lessons based on their level. Everybody has their own style in art and I help them find ways to do it in a style they love. I teach acrylic, watercolor, oil, graphite and drawing/sketching. I teach skills to enhance an artwork and techniques that bring a painting to life. A trial session can be scheduled before signing up for classes. I have worked in most art schools and studios in the Bay Area and collaborated with artists. I also tutor high school students with AP Art and help them with their school assignments and projects. I have tutored high school students from Quarry Lane, Monte Vista High and other schools in the Bay Area. I do paint parties and group family/office events.
