Getting Artsy

Getting Artsy is about making art a creative and deep learning experience to students of all ages and levels. Art is the best form of expression and builds self esteem. Having started art from the age of 6, it’s an endless journey that I feel so drawn to. I have more than ten years of teaching experience both kids and adults of all ages. Professional yet easy going so students don’t feel the pressure or get overwhelmed, instead I help them explore different kinds of art and unlock their true style and potential. I work along the individual interests and will customize lessons based on their level. Everybody has their own style in art and I help them find ways to do it in a style they love. I teach acrylic, watercolor, oil, graphite and drawing/sketching. I teach skills to enhance an artwork and techniques that bring a painting to life. A trial session can be scheduled before signing up for classes. I have worked in most art schools and studios in the Bay Area and collaborated with artists. I also tutor high school students with AP Art and help them with their school assignments and projects. I have tutored high school students from Quarry Lane, Monte Vista High and other schools in the Bay Area. I do paint parties and group family/office events. I also work on art commissions and portraits.
