As a certified specialist, the State Bar imposes a minimum of 60 hours continuing legal education every three years, which does not necessarily overlap with the annual 25 hours required by non-certified attorneys.

I always tell my clients to go with their guts when hiring an attorney; creating an attorney-client relationship is like marriage; you have to know for sure that you want this relationship.
