Oh my, oh my where do I begin. Vanessa did an awesome job at my wedding in April. I hired her at the last minute because it was really hard to find someone with reasonable prices. Not only was Vanessa my photographer on the day of the wedding but she also helped out with so many other things. It got to the point that I had to tell my lazy bridesmaids, "Hey she is here to take pictures, not help with wedding stuff."
Oh and can I say "Picture Ninja"...I've been to weddings where the photographer is annoying, all in the bride and groom's faces every second. I did not even notice Vanessa was there, the only reason I know she was there was because she captured so many great photos. Her pictures were absolutely gorgeous and they really captured the essence of my wedding.
Also, I had all of pictures even before we got back from our honeymoon!!! I have heard so many horror stories from other brides that have waited weeks or even months for pictures.
Vanessa was a true professional, in every since of the word!!!

We found Vanessa Weber Photography through the Thumbtack website and are so thrilled we were able to book her to shoot our wedding. When we began looking at websites from people who responded to our posting, we noticed right away that the VWP website and portfolio stood out leagues above the other communications we had received. From the get go, Vanessa was professional, efficient, and very kind. She made the whole “business process” extremely easy with multiple ways to pay and straightforward contracts. As for the “creative process” she was brilliant in really trying to understand exactly what we wanted and made sure through our meeting beforehand, pinterest boards, and email that she had a clear idea of what we wanted and expected. Day of, her and her partner were absolute pros. They gave great direction and kept our large family on track to get all the pictures we wanted done in an efficient, creative, non awkward way. I am normally one to hide from cameras and was nervous the whole element of photographers would make me really anxious but both Vanessa and her partner Seth made me feel extremely comfortable the whole day. As for the pictures, they are stunning. VWP provided excellent communication post wedding and got our pictures back to us extremely quickly. I’ve had friends wait months to see their pictures and we had ours within a couple weeks. They are absolutely perfect, exactly what we wanted and more. We, with our family, will treasure the pictures forever. We could not recommend Vanessa Weber Photography more!

My fiance and I interviewed a couple other photographers for our wedding photography but decided to go with Vanessa. We started with engagement photos to get to know each other before our wedding, and we couldn't be happier working with her. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and just be ourselves. She has so much of positive energy and was willing to meet our needs and wants. The high resolution images were given to us within a week, and they turned out great. We can't wait til our wedding and working with her again. I highly recommend Vanessa as your photographer to capture your special moments.

Vanessa photographed our outdoor Malibu wedding this September. She was an absolute joy to work with up to, and throughout our wedding day. I wanted a very 'documentary style' / unposed wedding album. She studied all of the pictures I sent her, and did exactly what I always hoped my wedding photos would look like! Beautiful, natural, 'in the moment' - lots of black and whites - she also managed to work out a very tricky lighting situation that resulted in very flattering pictures. I honestly don't think we posed for more than five shots- yet, somehow she captured the mood and events of my entire day. Beyond that, she's very nice, and brought a lovely assistant. All my pictures were also sent to me within just a few weeks after our date. She's amazing!

Vanessa was amazing!!!!!!! She was so sweet and professional, and made everyone feel so comfortable. I felt like she took the time to get to know us and was like having a friend the day of our wedding. Not to mention the pictures were BEAUTIFUL! She really captured the day and the moments we were hoping she would.
I am so SO SO happy that we found Vanessa, and that we decided to work with her.
I have so many more amazing things I could say- but the rest of the reviewers said it all for me!!!

Thank you Vanessa for being a part of our day and for being flexible, professional, fun, prompt, not cheesy or all up in our business, and for truly seeing the important moments and capturing them. It couldn't have been a better experience.

    I shoot weddings and engagements primarily on the West Coast- although I am willing to travel to many locations! I also shoot portraits, interiors, and food photography.

    The best advice I can give to customers looking to hire a photographer is to make sure you voice your opinion about what style you like or perhaps some specific shots you have in mind. I think this is the best way to ensure all of your expectations are met, and you have an end product that you love.
