Every project exceeded my expectation and was completed ahead of need date and well within our budget. Will continue to send our projects to Brand Design and Mockup.Dec 6, 2019
Always an amazing experience with Jay of Brand Design & Mockup. They are extremely punctual and pay attention to every detail to make sure you get the product and designs you are looking for. They have helped me create a top class webpage for our construction and engineering businesses. I always get compliments on our website. I look forward to doing more business with them as our business expands.Sep 28, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most typically, I will provide a quote for the project rather than work by the hour. I am also willing to give discounts on pricing for larger projects and willing to work one project at a time initially until we have a trusting working relationship. If you're starting a business, a great place to start would be your logo. From there, you can expand into the business cards, business stationery, websites, social media needs, etc. Most of all, don't be intimidated if you are bit unsure of your specific design style, I am patient and willing to help you figure it out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. Discuss your design needs and gather any information from you that would be helpful in completing your project. Any details, examples, sketches, preferences, etc. can be emailed or if preferred, a phone consultation can be scheduled as well. 2. I will preview the gathered information and either provide you with a quote (Via PayPal) or request some follow-up information if needed for clarity. 3. I require 50% upfront to cover my initial design time. This 50% upfront cost is nonrefundable and will hold you a spot in the design queue and you will receive my initial designs/layouts (generally about five different examples in the case of the logo). 4. Upon receiving my submitted ideas, you and I will refine down to a final logo based on your preferences/likes/dislikes. Most often, clients mix/match between different ideas, fonts, layouts, and color schemes. Generally this takes a few rounds and often just one. 5. Upon settling on your final design, the remaining balance is due on the project and I will submit the finalized artwork. In the case of a logo, for example, this would include a vector file that is infinitely sizable, a transparent PNG file that can be placed over any background cleanly, and if requested, a JPG file.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Hire your designer based on their previous work, not on what they can promise you. The quality of their work will be evident in their examples. If you dislike 50% of their work, don't hire them, you have a 50% chance of being disappointed.
