We understand that each and every client and wedding is different and unique in every way. Your wedding may be small and only require limited coverage, or you may be planning a large dramatic wedding, which can require a little extra coverage with all the perks. We asked Amber to be present before our same-sex wedding ceremony and during/after. Amber is working very hard to build a great business and absolutely will NOT have a problem! She's phenomenal. Amber captured some fantastic candid photos, as we requested, and identified some fantastic moments including natural light and artificial light (she carried a tripod-mounted flash everywhere and was ready for that perfect shot at any moment!). At one point my husband and I were standing by a tree and Amber was completely down & covered in the sand at Carmel Beach because she had a vision of us against an old Cypress and it turned out truly awesome. She will go to any length to get you exactly the shot that will warm your heart. Additionally, Amber was VERY patient with our time and flexible with our wedding ceremony. She was extremely generous of her time and was smiling and laughing the entire time. We truly had a fantastic time capturing our special day with Amber at our sides. Amber's bubbly, fun, but extremely professional personality won us over. You will feel as though you're the only people in Amber's world that matter. I highly recommend De Joy Photography!!

Amber has been great for our engagement photo session! She's an absolute pleasure to work with. Her response time is literally less than 2 mins no matter what time of the day it is (no kidding)!
We had initially planned for a weekday but she reached out to me and informed that it would be raining heavily that day. Very thoughtful of her to change the dates and make sure we have a good weather. She has a well detailed contract to make sure everything is communicated well in advance and there is no confusion in what you should expect.
At the day of the shoot, she was there right on time and remembered most of my pinterest board pics that I had sent earlier. We very initially awkward but she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. 10 minutes into the shoot and we were laughing and just being ourselves.
After the shoot, she was very quick in sending pics and made sure we have enough time for selecting for editing.
Ladies and gentlemen, look no further than Amber! I can assure you'll have a great time with her!

Amber was truly wonderful - she is fun and easy going and takes gorgeous pictures! Amber took our engagement photos (me, my fiance, and our dog Cassie) and did a fabulous job. She suggested a great time to meet and we had great lighting for our shots. She was able to quickly get to know me and my fiance and understand the vibe we hoped to achieve in our pictures. Amber was great working with our dog (who was quite hyper during the shoot) - she was patient and able to get Cassie's attention for some awesome shots!
Amber turned our pictures around quickly and I could not be more pleased with the results. We are so lucky to have such wonderful engagement shots - couldn't recommend Amber more highly!

Amber shot my wedding in early October. She did an exceptionally wonderful job and both my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with De Joy Photography.
Amber has such an amazing eye for capturing genuine moments. I am most impressed with her ability to really incorporate the surroundings and make a complete picture--rather than just focus on the subjects! She took the time to get to know exactly what we wanted in our photos and did a masterful job in facilitating us in a natural and comfortable way that ensured we got the amazing pictures we wanted.
On the business side of the house her price for a wedding shoot is fair and she delivered everything she said she would on time and in a professional manner. We even woke up the morning after our wedding and already had a sneak peak of photos! She is an absolute joy to work with and made our experience a lot of fun.
When it was all said and done the photographs that Amber took captured our day perfectly. I would strongly recommend De Joy Photography for anyone looking to capture the moment!
