- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First accessing their needs; Date, time, group number, theme, resources available Second: Quoting price based on needs and funds available to client Third: Verifying event details and sending confirmation email and contract Fourth: Showing up on time with balloons on hand and ready to go Fifth: Sending a thank you email and asking for feedback on performance
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Educated in clown and circus, performance and costuming, event coordination and management. Worked with VaudeVire Society, Avelon Entertainment, Lucent Dossier, Earth Circus, Bay Area Facepainters and many other circus event troupes as well as corporate events, family events and birthday parties supplying themed entertainment and performers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It found me! Rather oddly. I started as a dancer and began to apply costume, make up and stiltwalking, aerial acrobatics and management. Created to first feather hair extension company in the Bay Area and collaborated with both henna artist and face painters for events around the area. Found balloon twisting giving an artist a new view of never ending 3-D possibility!
