Introduction: We are creative females who bring joy and levity to everyone they meet! Please enjoy our services and remember! There is always something to be grateful for:) Ashley Over 14 years in the entertainment industry and a retired circus performer I am proficient in the talent of glamour and charm. I am an artist, a performer, and a clown. Beyond that, I am well versed in communication and collaboration, work just as well with other as alone. Colorful, creative and inspired are only just 3 of the words that make up my world. I take pride in bringing joy to those around me. I hope you will take the time to enjoy it! I can do simple balloons and complex balloon animals from dog to moneys, minnie mouse headbands to light sabers and ninjas. If you have a special theme or special request for pretty much anything I can learn to make those as well and bring them to your party. Highly customizable as far as theme, costume and colors. Please inquire and I am sure I can accomodate! Renae Originally born in the Northwest Puget Sound of Washington state, Dandy made her way to the Bay Area for academic pursuits but quickly found the colorful, creative world of performance and theater. When Dandy isn’t hitting the books, she is finding her creative outlet in performance art, costume design, face painting, and interactive theater. She has performed at the Great Dickens Fair, Life is Beautiful festival, Oregon Eclipse festival, the Edwardian Ball, birthday parties, and private and corporate events. Dandy especially loved the work she did as a professional fairie at a children’s entertainment company, doing puppet shows, magic shows, balloon animals, face painting, and glitter tattoos. Her heart blossomed when seeing little children’s faces as she spun stories about fairie land and brought the magic of make believe to life. Dandy especially loves the art of face painting and bringing a little extra sparkle to both children and adults. Whether it’s a birthday party or corporate event, Dandy loves being there for your special day! I enjoy creativity and imagination and bringing joy to others through my own inherent silly and chameleon like nature. Meeting new people and creating experience to thrive from in this expansive world! I love the possibilty of 3D art that balloon art create. I can make ANYTHING with a little bit of time and practice from large scale decorations to simple tried and true balloon dogs. The requests I get from people always inspire me to keep growing and learn more.

We had the most amazing experience with Spektical Entertainment. The face paintings were out of this world good, seriously so amazing. Balloon animals were also an absolute hit with the kiddos. I highly recommend them for your events!

Ashley set up having Rachel join us for our afternoon wedding in SF. Rachel arrived on time, was so nice, and was great to work with. She was a hit at the party and her work was amazing! Her face painting was beautiful and I was amazed to learn how quickly she completed the beautiful designs. One guest told me it only took a minute for an intricate design around her eye and side of face. Rachel also provided balloon twisting which the kids loved too. She made me, the bride, a cute pineapple balloon which fit with our Hawaii wedding theme and was very sweet. I appreciated it. Highly recommend Rachel and Spektical Entertainment for any event.

I found Ash through Thumbtack when planning my daughter’s 1st birthday party. She was prompt in following up through the app and was really easy to work with. She arrived early and started working immediately at our party. I didn’t know what to expect since this was my first kid’s party, but was thoroughly impressed by Ash’s balloon twisting and face painting skills! I particularly liked the unicorn, dragon and fish on a rod! The kids and adults had a blast! I wish I took more pictures of her work, but had my hands full with the little one. Would definitely hire Ash again for a future event and recommend to friends 🤗

Ash was the first to respond when I was inquiring about face painting and balloon twisting. She was very friendly in her message and showed me her work that was done previously. Ash constantly kept in contact about her services and has me fill out a questionnaire about my event. This was a great step because it let me know what she needed as well as what can help her give the best experience possible. From there, she sent a confirmation email letting me know the date of my event is confirmed and if any last minute changes have occurred to let her know. On the day of the event, Ash called me to let me know she was on her way. She arrived promptly and immediately set up and started doing what she does best. The expression on the children’s faces told it all. They were beaming with happiness and didn’t waste any time showing off their newly painted faces/arms. The balloon twists were different from what I expected. They were far more than just the basic. My nephew showed of his balloon shaped as a sword. There was also one that was a bat with a ball dangling from it. It was definitely a highlight of the event that some parents later inquired about.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Educated in clown and circus, performance and costuming, event coordination and management. Worked with VaudeVire Society, Avelon Entertainment, Lucent Dossier, Earth Circus, Bay Area Facepainters and many other circus event troupes as well as corporate events, family events and birthday parties supplying themed entertainment and performers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It found me! Rather oddly. I started as a dancer and began to apply costume, make up and stiltwalking, aerial acrobatics and management. Created to first feather hair extension company in the Bay Area and collaborated with both henna artist and face painters for events around the area. Found balloon twisting giving an artist a new view of never ending 3-D possibility!
