Introduction: A lot of customers come to me needing to get through a class, and thinking of math or physics as a large, disconnected set of (boring) details. This belief is exactly why they are stuck! Einstein would have pictured the situation in his imagination and then asked himself how things might interact. He was not stuck in the boring mathematical details. Anyone can learn to do experiments in their mind, which Einstein called "thought experiments." I will help you learn to do this. As soon as you start to connect up the huge number of disconnected ideas and see things in your imagination as all being connected in a small handful of big, powerful ideas, you will be the one explaining it to your friends! I like seeing the joy that comes through when a student understands something. The big payoff is when they tell me how well they did on the final exam.

I truly feel so lucky to have had Aaron as my tutor. Aaron tutored me in physics and gave me confidence I never thought I could have. He empowered me to pursue my goals in the class without being afraid of failing and with completely calmness. Aaron is incredibly patient and I always felt he truly cared about my success as a student and a person. He's an excellent teacher with a profound ability to explain fundamentals in a very approachable manner. Using his gift and strength of understanding how his students think and how they approach the problems, he always finds a way to teach in the way they'll best understand. He always made sure to be accessible, particularly prior to exams. I absolutely recommend Aaron as a tutor!

I am a parent of one of Aaron's students, he tutored my son with Algebra2/Trigonometry. Aaron communicates well with his students and parents. He is patient and finds several methods to explain a topic. He also builds a great relationship with his students so they feel very comfortable asking him many questions. Overall, Aaron is a very effective teacher. He makes learning enjoyable and inspires his students to learn the topics.

I had not taken high school physics so when I took calculus based physics at my 4 year institution, I was feeling lost and confused in a class that was graded on a curve and filled with engineering majors. Aaron's physics tutoring made all the difference in the world. He helped me understand concepts I was having trouble with and gave me guidance on my homework when I got stuck. I worked with him before each exam and he greatly improved my performance in the class. I couldn't give a stronger recommendation for someone to work with for physics tutoring.

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

A lot of tutors will just "treat the symptom" rather than the underlying cause of the problem. What I mean by this is that they will deal with the student's difficulties one question at a time. Instead, I prefer to help students change the way they think. If I do a good enough job at this, they can do a lot without my help.
