FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly watch webinars on new technology, dj equipment, lighting, and current trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved dancing to music since I was a preteen. Then making sure I attended all my school dances from middle school to high school. After high school I joined the military and danced in clubs around the US and other parts of the world. Seeing the dj make people dance in all these different places and times of my life. I came home one night after going to the club and said to myself I want to play the music everyone dances to. So I went out and started shopping for my dj equipment. Came home and started practicing and playing with any records I could get my hands on. Friends would come over to my apartment and hear my mixing. Next thing you know I am djing parties for my friends and as word spread. The events increased in size and occurrence.
