Richard didn’t want to see the pond to be demolished. He bid it off 2 photos I sent him. 30 minutes into the work, he called me out to let me know he needed more money to complete the job. They did not bring out the right tools or personnel for the job. This was a horrible experience, dealing with them. They should stick to clearing out debris in garages.

This was classic bait and switch. I sent him photos of the work in advance, and we agreed on a price of $650. After only about 30 minutes of work, he abruptly claimed the cost would exceed $2,000. When I objected and asked what he would do for the original agreed price, we settled on a reduced scope of work. Even then, he failed to complete the agreed-upon portion and stopped working. When I asked him to finish what we had agreed to, he threatened to dump the debris into the street and accuse me of nonpayment. He then raised the dump bed of his trailer as if he intended to carry out that threat. The police had to be called. Under pressure, I paid him $600, and he left without completing the job as agreed.
His behavior was unpredictable, unprofessional, and at times intimidating. He shifted from being reasonable to becoming verbally abusive and calling me names.
Details: No large items to haul • Yard waste, construction debris or scrap metal • Enough to fill half of a pickup truck • There are no flights of stairs
