I cannot say enough amazing things about Mary! She has totally transformed my wardrobe by eliminating so many clothes that I never wore and adding pieces that add so much value to my wardrobe. She’s great about finding styles based on what you like wearing and also letting you know whether or not certain styles suit your body tight. Mary did a tremendous job. Very professional and knowledgeable. We hired Mary to help with my wife’s wardrobe. Mary spent a lot of time getting to know my wife and her preferences. They spent time reviewing her existing wardrobe to get an understanding of her style. Mary then created a shopping cart for my wife to review. And it was all done virtually. Mary was always available for questions and wardrobe suggestions. The process definitely expanded my wife’s wardrobe and and provided comfort to wear pieces that she didn’t know she would like. According to the Wall Street Journal, only about 20% of clothes in the average person's closet are worn on a regular basis. I increase that percentage significantly by showing clients how to get the most out of their wardrobe and bring out the versatility in your style. I have two ways you can work with me (in person and virtual): -The Seasonal Refresh:This is a done for you personal shopping service for new seasonal wardrobes, vacation packing, or event styling. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we gain clarity on your style direction, personally and professionally. Next we run through Body Type Analysis, Color Analysis, and then edit your closet. You'll keep what you love, donate what doesn't serve you, and I'll digitally archive your entire wardrobe. You'll even get curated outfits to kick off your style journey. Then we curate your new look with foundation & statement styles that speak to your authentic style and make getting dressed effortless & fun. I'll provide a Digital Lookbook with full outfits with curated recommendations + integrations from your existing closet to maximize your style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production. I have been in wardrobe styling for 5 years and the fashion industry for 10 years - with previous experience in PR, Marketing, Sales & Design.
