Very professional! We had a makeup trial before the wedding so on the day she knew exactly what to do. Turned out beautiful :)

Erika O'Bar is a talented makeup artist. She did my makeup for both the 70s and 80s period with ease and effectiveness for a film production, Deadly Affairs. She was also easy and great to work with. I would certainly recommend her for any project.

I have worked with Erika on several projects - from special effects stab wounds to 80's glam make-up - her work is top-notch. She is a joy to work with! Hire her and you will not regret it! - Sonia Debreczeni, Actor

It seems like a million years ago, but Erika and I worked together for Homeland Securities scenario objectives and she did some amazing rebar sticking out of my forehead and torn up legs with bones protruding...it was an amazing experience...Mad talent...and Dallas for the screening of the first film she was credited in, very different movie, with very good makeup!!!

I work for a TV production company out of the Washington, DC area who specialize in shows that generate fear such as crime, 911 calls/experiences, the paranormal, animal maulings, and so much more within my company; however, these were the particular ones I worked on with Erika. These series include such networks as Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, A&E, and Destination America to name a few. If you notice the different genres of content that we have in my shows with Erika, then it should be quite apparent of her extent of knowledge within not only beauty and hair, no matter the time period, but to also include blood and gore! Erika would successfully pull off every cosmetic need we needed and in a timely manner, with a smile on her face! She do on set hair dye jobs, while doing a few gunshot wounds on a "victim" that had just been shot. She was able to make paranormal creatures look creepy and something believable rather than a cheesy route, using much of her own creativity and direction that pleased the producers. Erika responds within a timely manner for job calls so whoever is hiring is able to make decisions quickly. She has always been professional, but with an open kindness that makes being on set for a 12 hour day not as painful. She's great with quick tips within 5 seconds of the question! She truly knows her trade and would be an excellent hire that I would recommend again and again. The only reason I can't hire her now is because she moved to the West Coast, but I'll find a way if we are ever out there!
