I’m sitting here ready to put my heart and soul into helping your child succeed in school and realize their full potential in relationship to math.
There are three things that make a great teacher.
One, the teacher has to have a deep comprehension that allows them not to only speak through one narrow explanation that’s mechanical, but to pivot and explain in a way that’s catered particularly to the listener and their student’s state of comprehension at any given moment.
A teacher must also be a master of conveying mathematical topics. What really helps someone finally get it? What methods, what techniques, what explanations over many years have they discovered that really work?
And a teacher must, perhaps most of all, genuinely care about their student and make the session fun, safe, interesting, and inspiring.
I’ve been teaching mathematics for 20 years. This is my career. Education is what I do.
I have nearly a quarter million followers on Instagram for the mathematical artwork that I create to help people experience mathematics and understand it in ways that they have never understood it before. Sometimes a 90-second reel gets comments that somebody learned more in that 90 seconds than in a whole year of class.
I’m inspired to help the world comprehend mathematics, and that’s what my work’s about.
And whether I’m working with one student, perhaps your child, or touching the minds of millions of people when my reels get millions of views, the mission is simple.
It’s September, and I’m setting up my students for the school year. I invite you to reach out to me and discuss what it’s like to work together.
We can always start with a single session and see how it goes. And I’m confident that if you have even one session with me, we’ll probably work together for the whole school year and potentially many years into the future.
I’ve also developed a mathematics app that you can view and play with and experience and share with your child at TheMathematics.app.

Adam is truly gifted at what he does. He has worked with my son for 3 sessions and in those sessions he has already helped my son understand Algebra better. He showed him creative ways to approach the work and made it fun. Thank you Adam for helping to inspire his confidence again.

Adam is extremely conscientious about his work. He has been teaching for 18 years and clearly knows how to work with each individual student. My daughter was a good calculus student but needed to fill some gaps in her fundamental understanding of calc 3 concepts. She rarely comes away after an hour of tutoring and mentions how great it was but with Adam, she did. He's flexible with scheduling and responsive with his communication which can also make a huge difference when dealing with busy kids and busy tutors. I highly recommend him.

Adam was extremely professional and took the time to ensure my grandson fully understood what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made my grandson feel comfortable and confident, using relatable techniques such as sports illustrations to help him comprehend the information. My grandson is naturally a bit bashful, but he was very receptive and felt truly understood for the first time, as if he had been given a second chance. Since working with Adam, he has been doing well in school. Adam is both professional and caring and I highly recommend him.

Adam has been absolutely amazing! Adam has been helping my son since September and I’ve seen so much improvement. Not only does Adam help my son with precalculus and trigonometry but he helps him learn how to focus, study, celebrate small victories and makes him responsible for his actions that affect his own success. Adam is genuinely a passionate teacher and it shows in how much time he spends on making sure my son understands what is being taught. He’s also very patient which is something that I was looking for when looking for a tutor for my son.
My son is a sophomore in college and is very intelligent but has Asperger’s which can sometimes make traditional learning difficult and he lacks time management skills which can be very challenging especially when looking for a tutor. When Adam first called me he was very aware of what Asperger’s was and was very helpful in calming my fears of how exactly he would be able to help. He assured me that he would work on getting my son to focus on his environment first so he could get to a mental space where he was open to learning and then said once my son was at that point he would be more receptive to learn. Let me tell you that he was 100% right! My son is more focused in not just school but as a overall person. I’ve never seen him really focus on getting a schedule together but now he tries to schedule his entire day and feels accomplished at the ends of the day.
Adam is wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone!

We tried 4 tutors before we found Mr. Wes. We found that just because they tutor it doesn’t mean they can teach.
We needed an AP Physics tutor like 3 months ago and found Mr. Wes right before finals. I was sure my kid was getting an F.
However, she buckled down and in 3 meetings she got an 88 on her final and a B for the semester.
Though his fee was the highest I’ve ever paid, he was well worth it.
Highly recommended him.
