As a small niche-publisher of quality books that spark compelling conversations, I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Hank on four book projects. His sharp eyes and sharper wit have added depth, context, and humor to three ESL (English as a Second Language) books on speaking skills. He also made numerous and significant contributions to an American idioms book for English teachers and word mavens. Finally, I hope to one day (soon, please!) to publish a book of conversation and interview tips. Bottomline: Chimayo Press sseeks out opportunities to work with Hank, and only regrets that we lack the financial resources to offer a full time position. Our loss, however, might be your gain if you hire Hank for editing and writing assignments.

This man can write. I read his book Wicked Wit of the West (which I really and truly enjoyed) and found out he is a writer for hire. He has helped me a number of times with my daily blog about Los Angeles. He has offered topic suggestions and content but more important has assisted me with my "voice" and connection to my readers. And, just as important, he has been there with some of the jokes a blog writer needs from time to time. He's a coach and an editor and a comedian. Every writer should have a Hank Rosenfeld around.

My mother and I have been writing a book together for the past four years. No one has had a more sympathetic ear, feel for the style, and focus on the clarity than Hank Rosenfeld, our only choice of editor. For many years, he has also edited articles I've subsequently published in the LA Times and other publications. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

English major and newspaper editor at Wesleyan University. Two years on staff at Spy Magazine, NYC and two more at Avon Books, NYC. Eight years writing and editing at KNX 1070 News Radio Los Angeles. Fifteen years contributing stories and humor to NPR radio stations and newspapers and magazines from Athens to Jerusalem, Detroit to New York to San Francisco.
