I have various students all working on things that will help them get to where they want to be on the instrument. I love watching my students growth on the instrument as well as seeing how positive of an influence music can have on someones life.

Matt is amazing! Super flexible and very patient with my 8 year old daughter. He listens to her musical influences and interest and teaches her things from there. Strict when necessary about sticking patterns and how to follow the count. He may have been the only drum instructor who responded to my inquiry but I am extremely satisfied with my one off catch of an instructor.

Matt was a great drum instructor for my son who was a beginning drummer. My son was 12 at the time and Matt helped him learn and continue to improve for the next year. My son went on to play the drums for the rock band at his elementary school and in the school band When my son was ready for a new set of drums Matt was instrumental in finding us a buyer for my son's beginning drum set and finding us a beautiful used set of drums to purchase. My daughter has been voicing interest in learning to play the drums. If she decides to learn, Matt will be the first person I call.

Matt was patient, positive and gave my son just the right mixture of no-nonsense prodding and sincere encouragement. He is cool and knowledgeable and passionate about drumming... and works well with kids. We were very happy with him!
