Nancy gave me eactly the kind of instruction I needed. On top of that, she was extremely generous with loaning out books and even one of her flutes when mine was in the shop.

Nancy works well with our 10 year old. She lets him play and explore his choices too. Nancy listens and teaches and is easy going.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My usual rates are $30 for half an hour, $40 for 45 minutes, and $50 for an hour. Additional fees may apply if I travel to the student.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the first lesson I get a feel for the student’s needs and goals. Students perform twice yearly at recitals, solo, and/or in groups, and often have that opportunity shortly after starting lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from San Francisco State University. Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Studied with Paul Renzi, longtime Principal Flutist of the San Francisco Symphony. 12 years experience teaching private lessons and coaching student ensembles.
