- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a depression Era child so he did everything his self. From car repair to home improvements. I grew up with 2 brothers and 2 sisters and we all were hands on. I was the youngest...I originally was on a path to be an automotive tech and was an advanced auto in hs. I also was taking architecture , metal shop, wood shop, and home building classes and was advanced in all of them. After high school I worked at an independent vw shop, cabinet shop, contractor, and many more before finding ceramic tile. TIle became my career path and have been doing it since 1985...from apprentice to journeyman in less than 4 years...when I became a contractor in 1993, and started Perry Tile in 1995 I have immersed my self into remodeling . I have learned electrical from a union electrician, plumbing from a 35 year journeymen plumber, carpentry from my brother a 20 year, at the time, carpenter, cabinetry from my other brother a 35 year cabinetmaker.
